As Tenso Network we are proud to share our latest program: Tenso CONNECT!

Co-funded by the European Union, Tenso CONNECT focuses on cultivating a positive working culture within choirs, offering training programs for both young professional singers and conductors. By providing access to internships, online courses, and international conferences, Tenso CONNECT aims to help choirs reach their full potential as effective communicators in the professional realm. To this end Tenso CONNECT will have 24 singer and 6 conductor interns across Europe to join the project.

The interns will get the chance to intern with some of the leading professional choirs in Europe:

  • Ensemble AEDES (FR)

  • Helsinki Kamarikuoro (FI)

  • Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir (EE)

  • Cappella Amsterdam (NL)

  • Coro Casa da Música (PT)

  • Turkish State Choir (TR)

  • Croatian Radiotelevision Choir (HR)

  • Chamber Choir Ireland (IE)

  • RIAS Kammerchor (DE)

  • Musicatreize (FR)

In addition to the internships the program will also offer:

  • Online courses in digital connection, leadership, and societal impact will equip the interns to connect more deeply

  • MERGE, an event to give the chance to all the interns to meet larger professional choir network in Europe

  • TRAMPOLINE, a workshop for all the singer and conductor interns to work together and display their learnings throughout the program

  • CONNECTspace, a digital platform for the interns to connect with each other and share their journey with the larger choir community.

We are thrilled to be working on a program that aims at connecting young choir professionals with seasoned choir community and forging vocal bonds across Europe!
